Freelance performer around
NYC Metropolitan area. (and beyond!) Play guitar primarily,
bass and also a bit of keyboard, a little drums and harmonica
and sing lead and backround vocals.
Experienced Touring Musician.
Have been performing for over 37 years. Ran a Music Lessons
Business for 8 years. Produced and performed on various independent
artist's cds. Over 30 years experience recording in music
studios.
Placed second in the Long
Island Blues Society competition in 2007. Was the host of
several Long Island Open Mics. Highlights include performances
at The Knitting Factory in NYC, The Boulton Center in Bayshore,
The Cornelia Street Cafe in NYC, The Fox Theater in Boulder,
Colorado and The House of Blues in New Orleans. Spent time
in New Orleans soaking in the city, performing and recording.
Played Guitar for Little Shop of Horrors at the Boulton Center
in Bayshore, Long Island.
Have performed with Dave Watts
of the popular Colorado-based band The Motet, Erik Deutsch
who plays keys for The Black Crowes, Dean Brown who's a current
member of Stanley Clarke's band and Manny Faccorazo who plays
with Alan Parsons Project. Have also played with Tony Catania
of the Jason Bonham Band. Also, played with George Panos from
Long Island's own The Mystic. Have opened up for The Jerry
Garcia Band and Keller Williams. Still Rockin' and Rolling
Currently performing with
the band Mindburn and his own rock outfit The Dan Freedman
Project.
